Spring Regatta
TTPYC sponsors a Spring Regatta race day, which, when scheduled, takes place on a Saturday in April. The first race of the regatta is scheduled to start at 9:30AM. There are as many races as possible throughout the day, with a time limit of no boat finishing after 4:00PM.
Following the racing, there will be a gathering at the Quarterdeck to quench your thirst, trade sea stories, and received the Regatta results.

* Note: RRS 60.4(a)(2)
The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2025-2028 makes an unintended change to the validity of third-party protests. As currently written, the rule makes a protest invalid if it comes from a boat that witnessed but was not involved in an incident.
The World Sailing Case Book Working Party has a draft case that will say that the correct interpretation of this rule is that a protest is invalid only if the protesting
boat both did not see the incident and was not involved in the incident. We do not know when that case will be published.

See US Sailing document on this topic.

Race Committee (RC)
These races cannot take place without a Race Committee! Please consider volunteering. RC boats can always use an extra hand. And, if you have a boat, races can always use an RC boat.
How can I help?
I am not a TTPYC member, but would like to experience being on a Race Committee team.
Excellent!! Fill out a Race Crew Form to start your journey!
-
You don't need any experience!
-
You will get to learn about racing!
-
You will have a start & finish line view of the race!
-
And, odds are pretty good that you will have fun!

Please make a note on the Race Crew form that you would like to be a Race Committee volunteer.
